Two men were identified Monday in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman and a shooting near a parking lot that killed a man and a 17-year-old boy, Toronto Police announced.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Reese Fallon and aggravated assault in the shooting of the two teens.

Emanueal Drayton, 35, has been charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of the 17-year-old. Drayton was shot and remains in a critical condition at a Toronto-area hospital.

Drayton is due in court Wednesday, the Canadian Press reported.

The latest shooting happened Sunday at a condo complex in Toronto, which has also seen a deadly shooting of a popular senior playing hockey on a busy city street, as well as a double homicide in a home invasion in an upscale neighborhood.

The latest shooting came on the heels of a deadly shooting last week that killed two people and injured another after a minivan was intentionally targeted in a street race that began at a raucous Toronto Raptors basketball game.

Drayton had previously been charged with murder in the killing of another man in another shooting, Toronto Police Association president Mike McCormack said. He said Drayton was released by the courts on Oct. 1, two days before Sunday’s shooting.

McCormack said Drayton is also facing charges for a shooting at an intersection last October in which four people were injured. He said Drayton was released without bail.

The day before the shooting in the upscale neighbourhood of Forest Hill, members of Toronto’s police commission held a news conference to urge members of the public to help police solve the city’s gun violence problem.

Commissioner Mark Saunders admitted that police haven’t solved any of the dozens of recent homicides.

Officials with the department, meanwhile, have called for an increased police presence in Toronto’s downtown entertainment district in an effort to curtail gun violence.

Drayton will appear at court Wednesday.
